Exhibition Success

This was the Seventh UK Boarding School Exhibition hosted by Anderson Education and Mark Brooks Education. We have established a significant presence and reputation in the country for well organised and informative exhibitions which attract seriously interested families.

Investment in a targeted and extensive marketing campaign resulted in over 100 families visiting the exhibition in Lagos; a Reception was held with leading local heads and visits to top schools in Lagos.

Thanks for both organising and being there every step of the way on the Lagos/Abuja education tour. It was an unqualified success, enjoyable both professionally and personally.

Economy out of Recession

According to official statistics, and reported widely in the media including CNN, Nigeria is now out of recession. This positive news was reflected in the positive mood and interest of the families we met.

It was great to be in the hands of such experienced people who understand the market. Nigerians are a really good fit for the UK and I hope we will continue to have a steady stream of students.

Pre Exhibition Marketing

The marketing and promotion was led by Mark Brooks and included: promotion through Lagos Mums, invitations to Standard Chartered Bank customers and past Wheatbaker hotel guests, invitations to local independent schools, mailings to families on the databases of Mark Brooks and Anderson Education, advertising through schools, press, and social media.

UK Schools Directory – West Africa

Each visitor was given a copy of the UK Schools Directory which features profiles on leading boarding schools and personal stories from Nigerian boarders in the UK. Over 600 directories were given to parents and students.
